❤️ Toledo Review

Knights Inn Rossford

If you've ever wondered what the absolute low point in budget travel looks like, Knights Inn Rossford gives you a pretty solid idea. Located right off I-75, it may have a prime spot for those needing a quick stop, but prepare for a stay that is anything but comforting.

Management appears to be the top issue, with guests sharing experiences of unprofessional and dismissive behavior. Reliability is another weak point. Several guests mentioned being forced to pay cash deposits unexpectedly and the refusal to honor online reservations, leading to elevated stress upon arrival.

Cleanliness here is alarmingly subpar. Rooms are reported to have a pervasive smell of smoke, not ideal for any nonsmoker, and there are alarming accounts of finding drugs and paraphernalia in the rooms. Sheets and linens have been noted as dirty, with many instances involving bedbugs and roaches, severely compromising guest health and peace of mind.

Drugs and crime seem to be another unsettling concern, with some patrons noting seeing illicit activities and even cases where the police were called multiple times over overdoses. For security, some guests have had issues with broken room locks, no proper room keys, and non-functional alarms, further adding to the discomfort.

In terms of amenities, they're about what you'd expect in a budget motel, though the pool is seasonal and the basics like Wi-Fi are spotty at best. On a slightly positive note, there’s free parking and pet accommodations for a small fee. But these perks are overshadowed by the deteriorating room conditions and hazardous environment.

The only plausible incentive to stay here might be proximity to places like the Toledo Zoo, Bowling Green University, and the local Denny's next door for convenient dining. However, even this convenience doesn't really make up for the glaring issues highlighted above.

If you value safety, cleanliness, and reliable service, Knights Inn Rossford is best avoided. It's a textbook example of 'you get what you pay for,' but even that might be being generous.
